End users can independently customize existing reports and, thanks to the Instant Report feature, create new automatic reports in just a few clicks from any subfile, screen, or query obtained with FastQuery or with webgate400 SQL objects.

Professional graphical output, without technical constraints
PSG Report Editor lets you create complete graphical printouts with logos, images, barcodes, and QR codes, eliminating printer files and reducing the time needed for the initial design and later layout changes. Users can independently customize their own forms—adding, moving, omitting, or changing fields and images—quickly and easily, even without technical skills.
You can also design the graphical layout of the form with any graphics tool, use it as the print background, and use PSG Report Editor only to position fields within the layout.
Processing is fully automatic thanks to PSG Server, which installs on an Intel platform as a Windows service. The reports produced can be printed on any printer configured in a Windows environment, displayed in the print-box, sent by email, or archived in the ERP through Database Link, the webgate400 module dedicated to document management.
Not just printouts: from reports to data you can analyze
Directly from printouts created with PSG Report Editor, you can generate a DB2 file, an editable Excel sheet viewable in the print-box, and an XML attachment containing the print data. Users can therefore access information processed and calculated by print programs and perform their own analyses independently using SQL, queries, FastQuery, TAB SQL, and other functions.
Instant reports, ready in seconds
With Instant Report, you can produce default reports in seconds, without creating any print program, starting from data available in a display format, FastQuery, or SQL query. Each authorized user can adapt reports to their needs: add logos and images, exclude unnecessary columns, and modify fonts, colors, and styles. Multiple versions can be generated, and all can be modified at any time.
