PTF Handler is the solution developed alongside the webgate400 suite to streamline PTF preparation and installation procedures, which are usually delicate and time-consuming. It lets you prepare and distribute PTFs for your software solutions and send them to customers, who install them directly from the applet.

Main features of PTF Handler
Opening a new PTF
Identification of the libraries that will contain the objects to be sent.
Identification of the objects included in the PTF
Select the objects contained in one or more libraries, together with the IFS objects to be included in the PTF library to be released.

PTF Creation
A compressed object is created inside the IFS, with a name made up of the PTF code, its description, and a suffix. The creation phase can be repeated whenever objects need to be added to or removed from the list.
PTF Shipping
With a simple right-click, you can save the object or send it by email.
Installation authorization
PTFs can only be installed by previously authorized users.
PTF installation
For authorized users, the function is launched directly from the applet.
The installation procedure includes a backup phase that creates a copy of the released objects.
Restart in case of interruption
If the procedure is interrupted before completion, it can be restarted by running the first installation phase again.
